What are the best books on project management?

Hi Everyone,

Preparing for the PMP exam requires specific outlining and comprehensive preparation. Unlike other exams, PMP exam tests your ability to apply the knowledge. If you focus on the understanding of the subject, then PMP certification is easy to crack.
PMBOK is an exhaustive pattern written with the plan of using it during practice.
Although the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) is the standard guide from PMI for the PMP exam, it is more of a structure and informational book rather than descriptive. Before we move ahead, let's take a look at the exam pattern.
  • Initiating 13%, Roughly 26 questions
  • Planning 24%, Roughly 48 questions
  • Executing 31%, Roughly 60 questions
  • Monitoring and Controlling 25%, Roughly 50 questions
  • Closing 7%, Roughly 16 questions

PMP Exam contains 200 questions, and the time durations get 4 hours to complete the test. There is no break during the exam. Please note that there is no negative marking.

There are various different PMP books in the market, your first step should be a PMBOK guide. Once you are done with PMBOK guide, then look for the other books. However, in order to become active for the PMP exam, a PMP book alone will not be a good solution for you. You must attend PMP Certification Training either Online or Classroom in the Best Training Institute in Chennai.
